Song of the month ☆ Fire - Pointer Sisters

Welcome to my little corner

Hi doll! You can find lots of stuff here from my interests to web resources, stimulating media/asmr, nostalgic movies and games.

This site is my cyber love letter to similar dolls — I made this lil baby for 3 main reasons.

bullet

Number one — my nervous system goes into full shut down when it comes to talking to most people close to me. I am neurodivergent and I understand some people will never understand me, so sharing feels like asking for a slap in the face. But here, I can share my thoughts with myself unbridled and to the dolls that pass through.

bullet

Number two — I've been off Instagram for sooo long. Like, it's just for judging, commercialism, and consumption. It's dead. And I want to try and create a beautiful place where we swap Tumblrs, not Instagram — and we reply to each other not because we're dick-riding each other's posts senselessly, but because we have things in common.

bullet

AND THRIDD — simply put, we all deserve the best thrift hacks, we all deserve to have product authenticity knowledge that is purposely withheld. Even the tiny acts like reading a diary — a simple act of connection can make you feel less alone, or even taking the tips I give you to make your own safe space or community. Everyone deserves a space <3

Check out the movie theater, my diary, sign my guestbook if you'd like, or just hang around! Love ya.

Tips and Resources

Ok dollies this is gonna be a quick a lick rundown of what you need to get started in building your blogger !

So first this video was my best friend it just helps to get you familiarized with the vocabulary and some resources that are really helpful she's also fun to watch!

1. Okkk first you gotta pick a template and choose carefully cause this will be basically the bones of your website like navigation and layout. After that play around in the theme editing section and look around the layout section so you can get familiar and don't be afraid to look at the advanced setting cause that's NOT CODE it's how you control cute stuff like colors and text.

2. Next i would spend a CONSIDERABLE amount of time looking for inspiration cause without that your not gonna know what to add and it's best to look around pinterest, make a board of some pngs or borders and look up girl blogs online. THENN get a pen and paper and draw it out it makes everything much easier. Your vision will probably change aesthetically a lot but what matters is you know what widgets and features you'd like to add.

3. Now that you have a vision it's time to get you web resources and bookmarks FILLED UP here are some of the basic resources you'll need for your HTML and CCS building.

Catbox - changes gifs, pictures &. videos into the format they have to be to appear on your webbie.

W3Schools HTML tester - where you test and edit code snippets (always test before adding to your widgets)

ChatGPT- I know how we feel about AI but its sooo useful for combine code snippets you find, formatting widgets for blogger, tbh i use it to add custom fonts to my widgets cause it remembers your font so its just easy. Vury helpful.

Unicodeangel - Has a lot of website resources and widgets

Dafont - the best and safest font website sooo many options and easy download (you also have to put fonts in Catbox before putting them in widgets)

HTML textbox generator  - Bitch its in the name this webbie makes textboxes

HTML scroll box generator - I don't think we have to do this again LMAO

Next up is the howw, howw do you add pictures, chatboxes, and cute navigation ? Your gonna do this through the layout, you can do picture widgets with no background and attach a link to make a button but to add CCS     styling you gotta add a html widget and all you gotta do is paste that baby in there.

This is one of the main reasons i prefer blogger to neocities it's much more simplified and you can still get the same stuff and even more (cause you have to pay to play music on neocities)

Alot of webbie building is also graphic design like i would suggest getting a canva free trial so you can do ANYTHING design wise.

To add custom font and layouts to your blog entries or your "pages" you have to type up a google doc, format everything, download the html, open it and copy the source code. Then i DEEPLYY suggest pasting it into GPT and asking it to format for a blogger page. Then just paste it into your blogger html on the documents page. You can also ask GPT to add you custom font.

Now that you've set your background and added a picture or 2 here are some widget resources that are PEAKK

music players

coquette pngs, backgrounds and borders

goth/coquette bg, borders, pixels and more page

lots of cute pixels

psp video widget

so many fuckin site decorations

more and more widgets bitchh

so many pixels

many more pixels LOL

2000s web graphic, gif, pixels, lotss

Vury simple tut for custom cursors !

and here's a list of cute features you can add to your blog !

  • guestbook
  • chatbox
  • gallery
  • what your currently into
  • media log
  • "shrines" (these are a little young for me but just pages of things or people you adore or are hyper fixated on)
  • pet for your website
  • to do list
  • calendar
  • polls

Tbh the web is your oyster !

Okk that's all i can think of to get you tech savy dolls started ! if you have any questions please comment or message me on tt or tumblr ! lerv ya byee
