This site is my cyber love letter to similar dolls — I made this lil baby for 3 main reasons.

Number one — my nervous system goes into full shut down when it comes to talking to most people close to me. I am neurodivergent and I understand some people will never understand me, so sharing feels like asking for a slap in the face. But here, I can share my thoughts with myself unbridled and to the dolls that pass through.

Number two — I've been off Instagram for sooo long. Like, it's just for judging, commercialism, and consumption. It's dead. And I want to try and create a beautiful place where we swap Tumblrs, not Instagram — and we reply to each other not because we're dick-riding each other's posts senselessly, but because we have things in common.

AND THRIDD — simply put, we all deserve the best thrift hacks, we all deserve to have product authenticity knowledge that is purposely withheld. Even the tiny acts like reading a diary — a simple act of connection can make you feel less alone, or even taking the tips I give you to make your own safe space or community. Everyone deserves a space <3

Ok so this ALL started when I was on tiktok i made a new account to be like a diary and i never posted on it LMAO. I used to be grounded ALOT when i was younger like i'd miss trends and socail advancments in the YEARS so socail media has always made me feel like i was behind somehow cause i dont care about trends or news. Then my instagram got hacked a some hundo from 1k and after i made a new one that competitive, performative or just the desire to be perceived in the ways that are easily available didn't appeal to me anymore. Like we all know that you can utilize SM the way you want but lets be fr. They're designing them to be more addictive, more specific to the user and on apps like instagram people just watch you.

Something about blog sites like this, tumblr, neocities drew me in because not only do you get full customization but people don't just stumble upon your site that you have nothing in common with. So I made a ugly ass blogger like all I customized was the background and font yall. I made my first entries and then I discovered blinkies...html....ccs.....bitch. Idk if i could ever fully go back to instagram fr.

I made this blog to connect with like minded people and just have somewhere away from the norm to share myself without hindrance.Plus writing so often about my feelings and thoughts makes me feel really good and i love feeling like a girl with round glasses and a skinny scarf from the 2000s typing on my blog with my pretty nails

I added all the features as a gift from me to me and from me to you. I loveee the media of our 2000s babies' childhoods from strawberry shortcake to webkinz so I've compiled as many nostalgic medias as i could find. From movies to games that all the dolls know, remember and love. Bitch i even found 2 versions of fantage...from show and song recommendations i really just wanted this blog to be a love letter of me for cyberspace and a eerie little corner of the web for like minded dolls.
